the Beginning

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! It's not pretty, it's not polished, but here it is--- the blog that I promised in exchange for my sister's Sony Bloggie Camera/Video Recorder. In 12 hours, I will have officially completed my first month in the People's Republic of China. Here are some of the highlights of the Journey to the PRC:

Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, China (Sherry, Mr. Lu, Annie) 08.23.2010 - Mr. Lu the owner of the Jin Hui Shane English School Branch met us at the airport. Here we are loading our luggage into the van for a 45 minute drive from the airport to the hotel across the street from the Jin Hui Branch. Tons of luggage, little van. This is where any Tetris skills you posses become very useful.


Green Tree Hotel in the Minghan District of Puxi, Shanghai 08.23.2010 - This was our hotel for our first couple days here in Shanghai. It is located just across Wuzhong Road from the Shane English School office (Jin Hui - JH). We unload, we got our rooms, we went to bed. Good night, Shanghai!
